ANALYSIS:

From Cyprus, Texas, Bradley Bourgeois was spotted by the Houston Dynamo scouting staff and was to join the Dynamo’s USSDA team. He played in 24 games, was team captain with the Dynamo U-16 team, played 29 games with the U-18 team and played in eight games for the Houston Dynamo reserve team. Bradley is a strong, powerful player despite being under six feet tall, he is able to handle many forward 1v1 and in the box. Bradley should sign a homegrown contract with the Dynamo after his senior if he continues to develop as he has so far.

Bradley signed with Tulsa where Head Coach Tom McIntosh said “Bradley is a very strong center back, He is athletic, good on the turn and can pass it out of the back, which is important in our system. Bradley is also very good in the air and communicates very well for a kid his age. He is going to bring very good experience to the team and will make an immediate impact to the back line.”

Bourgeois has played 60 game with Tulsa, starting all of them, scored three goals and provided an assist. He was named to the C-USA Freshman team in 2012, named to the C-USA third team in 2013, named to The American conference first team in 2013 and was his clubs Defensive Player of the Year. Bradley also played NPSL soccer with the Tulsa Athletics and was regarded one as their top players.

Signing a Homegrown contract with the Dynamo, Bourgeois will provide depth to the first team defence and will likely split time between MLS and getting minutes in USL with its new club Rio Grande Valley FC.
