As part of the ProspectXI database, players statistical and scouting information is collected from over 50 countries in the world and from multiple divisions. Like our North American work covering the college game and smaller CONCACAF countries, we specialize in focusing on players outside the first division yet that if given an opportunity at a higher level could preform well. Our work in this area is also about maximizing value, creating these databases of players that based on current situations can provide a club a bigger ROI.
The English National Conference is the highest division of Non-League football, the fifth division in the English Footballing Pyramid. Historically it has provided talent at higher levels for a number of years, but has been identified most recently for developing players such as current English Premier League leading goalscorer Jamie Vardy at Leicester City and English Championship leading goalscorer Andre Gray at Burnley. PXI statistical database for the National Conference started in 2007, identifying at the time in the league both Vardy and Gray as prospects. Currently the league has a number of interesting players, including the top forward in 22-year-old Omar Bogle at Grimsby. However, we feel the true talent in the Conference at moment are midfielders such as Woking’s John Goddard and defenders in Torquay United full-back Dan Butler.
The following is ProspectXI England National Conference Top 25 prospects for the 2015-2016 season.
