ANALYSIS

Palmer-Brown began playing for the Sporting KC Youth Academy in 2009 at age 13. He worked his way into their reserve squad in 2012 at just 15-years-old. He made his first team debut in May 2014 against the Chicago Fire and was sent off for a second yellow in the 64th minute. Palmer-Brown has been a mainstay in the United States youth national teams since 2011. Palmer-Brown is a decent athlete and has above-average strength for his age. His combination of jumping and heading ability make him a threat from corner kicks on both ends. If given time he likes to find long diagonal balls, but isn’t as comfortable when pressured. He will definitely need to improve his positioning and passing to become a reliable starter in Major League Soccer.
